Great news! The Phillipsburg Pistol Club is currently accepting new memberships! Spouse and junior memberships may be added at an additional cost.
Proof of legal eligibility to own, possess, and control firearms and live ammunition must be presented at the time of application. One of the following is required.
FOR NEW JERSEY RESIDENTS:
– A valid New Jersey Firearms Purchaser’s Identification Card
– Valid, active, retired Law Enforcement Credentials
– A current New Jersey Permit to Carry a Handgun
FOR RESIDENTS OF OTHER STATES:
– A valid concealed carry permit issued by any state
– A valid New Jersey Firearms Purchaser’s Identification Card
– Valid, active, retired Law Enforcement Credentials
Membership in the National Rifle Association or America (NRA) is required at the time of application.
SAFETY COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
A member is Provisional until successfully completing the PPC Safety Course or providing evidence of successfully completing a PPC recognized safety course. A Provisional member must attend the safety course within the period of four consecutive training offerings. These trainings are typically quarterly, and may be more or less frequent depending on demand.
Once a Provisional member successfully completes the PPC Safety Course (or provides evidence of successfully completing a PPC recognized safety course) General Membership is granted.
RANGE ACCESS:
Provisional Members must shoot when a Range Safety Officer is present. These hosted shoots are listed on the club calendar and on the Regular Events page.
General Members have access to the club every day, 8AM-10PM (indoor range) and 8AM-Dusk (outdoor range, 9AM on Sundays).
Access to the ranges may be occasionally restricted throughout the year. These times are for police training (typically a weekday), club classes, club meetings, work parties (few hours on a weekend morning), etc. We post restricted times on the club calendar with as much notice as possible. We always suggest checking the calendar prior to coming down to the club to make sure nothing is scheduled for the day that would hinder access.
