There are many NRA Instructors in the club certified to teach NRA courses:
• Home Firearm Safety
• Basic Pistol
• Personal Protection in the Home
• Personal Protection Outside the Home
• Basic Rifle
• Basic Shotgun
We also can offer NRA Range Safety Officer training and NRA Instructor Certification for any of the previously mentioned courses.
On a quarterly basis, we offer New Member Training free of charge for all new members. Please check the club calendar to see when the next course is being offered. This is an excellent course for the newbie who wishes to learn about firearms safety, maintenance, handling, shooting techniques, and general firearms knowledge. This course is required for all new members if they wish to have access to the club facilities from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 365 days a year

IDPA
The IDPA match directors offer a familiarization course on occasion. If you are interested in learning the basics of IDPA regulation firearm handling. Please contact the match directors at idpa@phillipsburgpistolclub.org.
